Freddie’s Place – Olde Fashion Soda Shoppe – Pittsfield, Massachusetts

After exploring Mount Greylock, we were looking for a small, local restaurant for a late lunch.  With the help of Yelp, we found glowing reviews for Freddie’s and called to make sure they were open. (We have found, using Yelp, it is recommended to call the business, as they don’t always update the hours of operation or when the business is closed for vacation)

Super easy to find, with plenty of parking behind the restaurant.

They serve a wide variety of Hosmer Mountain Soda, a local soda company from Eastern Connecticut.

The restaurant is decorated with sports and music memorabilia, and artwork.

We tried the Sarsaparilla and Root Beer, both were very refreshing!

Delicious french toast with strawberries and cream.

6oz Bacon Swiss Sirloin Burger with fries – Delicious!

Friendly, courteous staff, delicious food, and a family friendly atmosphere. If you are in the area, make plans to visit Freddie’s Place !!
